State or no state, but never without justice!

"Ma kako se ona zvala - Crna Gora, Bosna i Hercegovina, Francuska ili Turska - država koja ne razumije da ljudi mogu bez države, ali ne mogu bez pravde, ne razumije ništa."

"However it is called - Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, France or Turkey - a state that doesn't understand that people can [live] without a state, but cannot [live] without justice, doesn't understand anything." - Andrej Nikolaidis

I'm not sure that in a large-scale society you can have "justice" without "a state". The question is what sort of a state is necessary.

I totally agree that the population issue is a legitimate concern re: Anarchism, and on so many levels. I have my own ideas of how stateless societies might function, as do other supporters of anarchist ideas. Though how they might cope with population growth, especially where matters such as justice are concerned, is certainly a subject anarchist theorists should ruminate on.

Apart from that, it was nice to read recently that the second most controversial topic on Wikipedia was Anarchism of all things, second only to George W. Bush! Shame there was no Ex-Yu topic in the top ten, seeing as I've seen many loooooooooong discussion pages, full of heated debate over this and that detail, accompanying the main articles!

Sorry for the late reply, but as you will see, it was worth waiting for! You can find a lot of valuable academic material in English re: Yugoslav history on this website recently set up by one of my Facebook friends: An Alternative Reading List on the Balkans & Yugoslavia. I'm sure you will find the list on that page very useful! :-)

Best regards!
